THE COVETOUS COMPARED WITH THE DROPSICAL.

As this the more he thirsts requires,
The more he drinks, the more desires:
So with the love of gold accurst,
The greater gain, the greater thirst.
Thus each thirsts on to fill their store,
Till each disgorge, to thirst no more.
