[Great God, whose ever-wakefull eye]

Great God, whose ever-wakefull eye
Doth never slumber, never close,
Teach all my dangers to rely
Upon thy help, their safe repose:
Be thou my shade, be thou my stay,
I will not feare by night, by day.
