SUNDAR SINGH (1889-1929):
Indian EVANGELIST who converted to CHRISTIANITY from the SIKH RELIGION of his family after a VISION OF JESUS when he was thirteen years old. He adopted the dress of a HINDU HOLY man and sought to spread the GOSPEL in terms of Indian life and CULTURE.
