FAB. LXXXIX. The Fighting Cocks and Partridge.

The Partridge grieus the Cock shoud use her ill,
But when she sound they did each other kill,
She sighing cryd, no wonder me th'annoy
Who do maliciously themselves destroy.

Morall

Mallice in men breeds to themselves more wo
Than their ill nature can in others do
