VERSES VNDER A CARVING OF CVPID BLOWING BLADDERS IN THE AYRE.

Loue is a locke that linketh noble mindes,
Faith is the key that shuts the spring of loue,
Lightnesse a wrest, that wringeth all awry,
Lightnesse a plague, that fancie cannot brooke:
Lightnesse in loue, so bad and base a thing,
As foule disgrace to greatest states do bring.
