1. A festival held to celebrate the People's Peace Treaty
will be held at camp grounds set up at West Potomac Park.
Grateful Dead and Richie Havens will appear.

2. The final round of the Life Moot Court Competition
will take place Saturday as part of the 14th annual Law.
Alumni Day at the University. Competition will begin at
8:30 in Cabell Hall.

3. "Happy Day" activities will begin at 2 p.m. on the
grassy area in front of Peabody Hall. They will include
tricycle races, a unicycle exhibition, unamplified music in
the form of wandering minstrels, and a barbershop quartet.

4. Five of the seven U.S. Senators who are graduates of
the University's law school will participate in a panel
discussion entitled "An Afternoon Colloquy." The
discussion centering around domestic issues will be held at
2:30 p.m. in Newcomb Hall.

5. A rally held by the Coalition for Peace and Justice is
scheduled for the street side of the Rotunda at 1 p.m.
Speakers will include Virginia Collins and Karl Braden.
Following the rally, a "People's Peace Treaty" will be
presented to the senators at Newcomb Hall at 2:30.

6 At 8 p.m. Ian and Sylvia, Canada's famous rock-folk
duo, will appear in concert at University Hall. Performers of
"progressive country music," Ian and Sylvia have recorded
ten best-selling albums including. "Nashville" and "Full
Circle."
