Admission Of Guilt

(a) admit the violation and
accept the punishment indicted.

(b) elect to appear informally
before a majority of the Honor
Committee to admit the violation
and to show mitigating
circumstances. The Committee
may, in its discretion, deem the
circumstances sufficient grounds to
administer a lesser penalty, or no
penalty at all. In no event may a
more severe penalty than previously
indicated be administered.

(c) elect a formal trial-type
hearing before at least 90% of the
Honor Committee. In the event of a
formal hearing, the following
procedures must be strictly
followed. Failure to follow any one
of the following procedures
constitutes a fatal error, in which
case a completely new trial with an
entirely new Committee is required.
