is printed from entirely new type, on the most costly
paper; the engravings are all drawn for the work by that
talented artist Wm. Croome, and were engraved by the best
artists in the country; the binding, either in cloth or morocco,
is in Altemus' very best style, and is adorned with designs
elaborately cut for the book. In short, no expense has been
spared to make it not only the most superb edition of the
New Testament ever published, but worthy of its intrinsic
character as a Perpetual Keepsake.
Copies are also bound in plain, or extra sheep with marble
edges, printed on the same paper, with a frontispiece and the
