I thank my Wife for my so neer relation
Unto a mine of vertue of our nation.
To name your handsomness I do decline,
As to tell Ethiops the Sun doth shine:
You are as witty as the Lesbian Lass,
Who the tenth Muse so oft accounted was:
And chaster then the glorious Roman Dame
That kil'd her self for vicious Tarquin's shame,
Thus I could prosecute your Worths, but know
Y'had rather Heaven then men should judg you so.
