When Venus longst that PlaineThis Parian Adon saw,
Shee sigh'd, and said, What Power breakes Destines Law,
World mourned Boy, and makes thee liue againe?
Then with stretcht Armes shee ran him to enfold:
But when shee did behold
The Bore, whose snowie Tuskes did threaten Death,
Feare closed vp her Breath:
Who can but grant then that these Stones doe liue,
Sith this bred Loue, and that a Wound did giue?
