FAB. LXXXVII. The Bear and two Travellers.

A Bear approcht two Travellers one fled
To a safe tree, th'other lay still as dead,
The Bear but smelling to his face retird
The friend descends and laughing thus inquird.

Morall

What was't he whisperd in his eare quoth he
He bad me shun a treacherous friend like thee.
