SHOLOKOHV, Mikhail Alekandrovich (1905-1982):
Russian novelist and supposed author of And Quiet Flows the Don (which is a profound analysis of the effect of REVOLUTION on Cossack SOCIETY) and a hardline Communist. Rumors persist that he was not the true author of the novel which it is claimed he stole from a prison camp inmate thus explaining its anti-communist sentiments.
