The Peeres of the Phæacian State,
A Councell call, to consolate
Vlysses, with all meanes for Home.
The Councell to a Banquet come.
Inuited by the king: which done;
Assaies for hurling of the stone,
The Youths make with the stranger king.
Demodecus, at feast, doth sing
Th' Adulterie of the God of Armes
With her that rules, in Amorous charmes.
And after, sings the entercourse
