Tonight at 8:15 in Cabell Hall Auditorium the Berlin Philharmonic Octet will perform works by Rossini, Hindemith and Schubert. The Octet consists of members of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. They have performed all over Europe. The Octet has frequently appeared at the Music Festivals in Lucerne, Vienna, Edinburgh, and Salzburg and has given concerts in Japan, Central and South America. Such composers as Hindemith, Hartig, Borris, Baumann and Henze have paid the Octet the tribute of dedicating compositions to it.
