SARGENT, William (1918-):
British psychiatrist whose book The Battle for the Mind (1957) was a sustained attack on CHRISTIAN CONVERSION as a FORM of BRAINWASHING. His work was a response to the success of the BILLY GRAHAM CRUSADE in England in 1951.
