“Blow, blow thou winter's wind,
“Thou art not so unkind
“As man's ingratitude.”
These lines my reader may have met before,
But they do honor to Sir Thomas More:
“When More some years had Chanc'lor been,
“No more suits did remain;
“The same shall never there be seen,
“'Till More be there again.
