[How ignorant the human mind]
How ignorant the human mind,
How totally shut up and blind,
Through our first parents' fall!
Strangers to God by nature, we
His things can neither know nor see,
But darkness covers all.

Spiritual things to know;
His wisdom, majesty, and love
To view in all His works above,
