Epig. 14. To Delia.
Delia , alasse, and art thou now grown poore?Walking like a dejected forlorn whore,
Have all thy Lovers cast thee off, what all,
And given thee unto the Hospitall?
No presentations of Gloves, Tyres, or Pins,
Now nought is left unto thee save thy sinnes:
O heavie load, now (Delia) thou dost find,
“They nothing have, who want a virtuous mind.
