LIBERALITIE OF PHOCION.
VVhen PHILIPS great vnconquered Sonne had sendeTo PHOCION Gifts, and Iewels of great worth;
Hee saw them all, and sent them backe in ende:
No Favoures, but Refusals, they brought foorth.
Then said hee to the Legates, Doe not grieue:
I will not take, lest I forget to giue.
