The University's new $1.3 million swimming pool complex will be completed and ready for use by next year. The pool will provide eight lanes for competition and a separate diving well with three or four springboards. It will be located next to the field house, adjacent to University Hall. Construction of the new complex will alleviate the cramped swimming facilities in Memorial Gymnasium and provide students with flexible swimming privileges.
