55 Of hearing Masse.

Men talking, as oft times it comes to passe,
How dangerous 'tis now to heare a Masse;
A valiant Knight swore for a thousand pound,
He would not present at a Masse be found.
A Noble Lord stood by, and hearing it,
Said, Sir, I then should much condemne your wit.

For were you found, and follow'd ne're so nearely,
You gaine nine hundred pound & vpward clearely.
