FRAGMENT.

[The Sheep of gentle Westley's fold]

[_]

The attribution of this poem is questionable.

The Sheep of gentle Westley's fold,
If right I read their doctrine, hold
That Grace descends, not like the dew
Pouring a blessing o'er the general earth,
But falls upon a chosen Few,
The Children of the Second Birth:
Not that this Grace doth most abound
In pure and consecrated Ground;
For Sin, they tell you, like Manure,
Makes the Crop plentiful and sure. [OMITTED]
