HEROISM: A THOUGHT
Thou wouldst be Hero? Wait not then supinely
For fields of fine romance which no day brings
The finest life lies oft in doing finely
A multitude of unromantic things.
For fields of fine romance which no day brings
The finest life lies oft in doing finely
A multitude of unromantic things.
The heroism of thy true endeavour
Shall gild the common-place of common days,
And God Himself shall guard thy work for ever,
And crown it with eternity of praise.
Shall gild the common-place of common days,
And God Himself shall guard thy work for ever,
And crown it with eternity of praise.
