So said; the sad Parthenia, (whose teares
Are turnd Lieutenants to her tongue) forbeares
To tempt her language: Griefes, that are but small,
Can speake, when great ones cannot vent at all:
But tender hearted Argalus (to whom
Such silence speakes too loud) forsooke the roome;
And, with a brest, as full of pensiue care,
As honor, gaue directions to prepare
His warlike Steed, his Martiall attire
And all things, such imployment does require.
