FALCONRY—

Confederate Gray, a healthy gauss hawk, was the
object of the address on falconry given by Charles Price at last
Friday evening's meeting of the Jefferson Society. Fortunately,
the hawk hasn't contracted pneumonia from the recent spell of
rainy weather, because Mr. Price told his audience that little is
known about treating diseases in the birds.
