Written in a Window at Wallington-House. MDCCXIX.
Envy, if thy searching EyeThro' this Window chance to pry,
To thy Sorrow thou shalt find,
All that's Generous, Friendly, Kind,
Goodness, Virtue, ev'ry Grace,
Dwelling in this happy Place:
Then, if thou wou'dst shun this Sight,
Hence for ever take thy Flight.
