Epig. 43. To Will. Lee, the Bookseller at Pauls Chaine.
Syrrah; thou art so base a Foole that I,
Think thee not worth my Anger, else I'de try
In ARCHILOCHUS tone, so loude to sing,
(With a Quill borrowed from a Ravens wing,
Penning such fatall Scripture) thou (thou Else)
But hearing it, should'st streightway hang thy (selfe,
But I am mercifull, repent thy ill,
And know no sword, cutts deeper then my Quill.
