Kalander thus at last, (being ouerwrought
With words, which importunity had taught
Inexorable Argalus) was faine
To yeeld, what he so long gainsaid, in vaine;
Tis now concluded, Argalus must goe,
But yet Kalander must not leaue them so;
There is no parting, till the aged sire
Shall warme his fingers, by Partheniaes fire;
Parthenia sues; Kalander must not rest,
Till he become Partheniaes promis'd guest.
