Drawn further on to th' Vale at last, one while
His silver'd Bow's imploi'd then; to beguile
Slow Morning-hours, Philosophy, choice Book
Maintain'd discourse by Crystal-streamed Brook:
Till solemn Thoughts return, rais'd (last) again,
Did softly tread that flow'r-imbroider'd Plain:
Earth smiling round (as 'twere) upon the Skies,
As Heav'n on earth; for Cheek Serene complies.
