Individual Competition Won

The Players also won the
individual competition as
third-year man Mark Hattan,
playing Corbaccio, was
awarded a $500 scholarship for
the Outstanding Performance
of the festival. Mr. Hattan will be
invited to compete for
scholarships ranging up to
$2000 at the national festival
this spring.

Alan Schneider, director of
"Who's Afraid of Virginia
Woolf" and "Walting for
Godot" called the production
"one of the best college theater
productions I have ever seen."

"Seeing this production
rekindles my faith in the
American theater. The
performance demonstrates the
vitality that is possible when
imagination and good acting
combine with an exciting
play." he said.
