Relief for the University's chemists, now in old Cobb Chemical Laboratory, is finally taking form. Conceived way back in 1937, the new chemistry building has been under construction since the present fourth-year men lived on McCormick Road. In the past, construction noises eliminated the need for alarm clocks in Page House. If one didn't have an eight o'clock class, however, he was out of luck—work began at 7:30. Barring the possibility of early morning chemical explosions, future Page residents will awake to their alarms, not the workmen.
