An HYMN for Vespers.
Φως ιλαρον αγιας δοξης
Th' Immortal Fathers chearful shine,
Ray of Glory, all Divine,
Equally with Him fair, and bright;
When we see the Day decline,
Calling the sluggish Evening on,
We praise the Father and the Son,
And in our Lauds the Spirit joyn,
“Worthy art Thou, O God, we say,
“Worthy, O Son of God, art Thou,
“And Thou, of Life the Lord and Giver,
“Worthy to be Prais'd for ever,
101
“And with th' whole World thus Crown each Day!
