Whitegift , whom gratious honour entertaines.Welcome as to the yeare the gladsome May,
Welcome as is the morning to the day,
Welcome as sleepe vnto the weary swaynes:
The fayre Elisa white with heauenly praises:
The Gods white Church adorned doth set forth,
The all white meaning and excelling worth:
The vertue white aboue all honour raises.
Yet let my pen present this little storie.
Vnto the endlesse volume of thy glorie.
