I MAYN'T OR I MAY

And will I answer you, when you come again?
And have you a chance or two? may be one in ten.
And will I think of you, when you're far away?
That's according to my humour, I just mayn't or I may.
Do I feel more kind to you than I did before?
We'll say inclined to you, p'r'aps a trifle more.
Make up my mind to you? I can hardly guess.
If I couldn't, sure I shouldn't, no nor wouldn't say Yes!
And will I write to you, when you write to me?
Give that delight to you? only wait and see.
And will I think of you? may be now and then.
But will you, won't you, will you, won't you soon be home again?
