The bridal of Vaumond
XXX.
L'ENVOY
.
And now, as eld in numbers sweet
Hath taught, to courteous minstrel meet,
He bids God-speed to one and all
On whom slumber's lightsome links may fall,
As the rhymer wakes from his lengthen'd dream,
And hails with joy day's rosy beam.
