Of special interest is a group of materials, 1925- 26, regarding the Massenburg bill which required the separation of races at public halls. Passage of the bill was directed specifically at a meeting attended by all races at Ogden Hall, Hampton Institute. Among the correspondents is Mary McLeod Bethune.
