The best man should never pass by
The worst, but to brotherhood true,
Entreat him thus gently, “Lo, I
Am tempted in all things as you.”
Of one dust all peoples are made,
One sky doth above them extend,

And whether through sunshine or shade
Their paths run, they meet at the end.
And whatever his honors may be,—
