NATURE-FREEDOM:

one of the GROUNDMOTIVES of DOOYEWEERD'S philosophy which he uses to explain the development of WESTERN PHILOSOPHY. NATURE represents the physical world of SCIENCE and mathematical determinism while FREEDOM expresses the realm of the SPIRIT, individual FREEDOM and a ROMANTIC vision of life.
