Ringed with Blue Mountains

Ringed with blue mountains,
Oft when a little lad
Dreamed I of something glad
Hidden beyond;
Ships and the shining sea,
Towns and towers haunted me,
Dreams made me glad and sad—
Life lay beyond!
Ringed with blue welkin,
Oft now, as when a lad,
Dream I of something glad
Hidden beyond;

Haunts and entices me;
