The University's Glee Club, under the direction of Donald Loach, will present its thirty-first annual Christmas Concert tonight. The candlelight concert will take place in Cabell Hall at 8:30 p.m. The central theme of the program is derived from the psalm "Sing to the Lord a new song". Included in the program is a new cantata of nine carols that retells the story of the Messiah's coming. Beginning with Adam's fall, the cantata will include the prophecies and the birth of Christ. Carols for audience singing will also be included. A redesigned program will be presented Saturday at 11 a.m. for children. As in the past, no admission will be charged. Contributions, however, are gratefully accepted.
