Suggestions Solicited

Interested students are urged to make
known their suggestions for recipient of the
award by either writing or calling a member of
the Committee, which in turn submits a
selection of names to the Alumni Association.

According to Mr. Beard, very few students
in the past have suggested any professors who
would be worthy of the distinction in question.
"I would feel more secure if I had student
opinion backing me," he stated.

Nominations should include the name of the
member of the faculty and a supporting
paragraph as to why he merits the distinction.
The professor must have been a member of the
faculty for not less than ten years, who has
excelled as a classroom teacher, has shown
unusual concern for students, and has made
significant contributions to the life of the
University.
