The following resolution was adopted:

  • RESOLVED that the following faculty members be and they are hereby promoted:
  • Mr. James J. Barnette from Assistant Professor of Education to Associate Professor of Education, for one year, effective September 1, 1984.
  • Dr. Donald Branson from Assistant Professor of Family Medicine, Lynchburg to Associate Professor of Family Medicine, Lynchburg, for three years, effective July 1, 1984.
  • Mr. Philander D. Chase from Instructor, General Faculty to Associate Professor, General Faculty, for one year, effective July 1, 1984.
  • Dr. William S. Evans from Research Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine to Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine, for three years, effective July 1, 1984.
  • Dr. Jay R. Heller from Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry to Clinical Associate Professor of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry, for two years, effective July 1, 1984.
