RESIGNATIONS

The President announced the following resignations

Mr. Walter S. Flory, Professor of Biology, effective 31 August 1963, to accept the Babcock
Professorship of Botany at Wake Forest College

Mr. Almarin Phillips, Professor of Business Administration, effective 30 June 1963, to accept a
position as Professor of Economics and Law at the University of Pennsylvania

Mr. John P. Raney, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering, effective 30 June 1963, to
accept a position elsewhere

Mr. James R. Schlesinger, Associate Professor of Economics, effective 1 July 1963, to accept a
position with the RAND Corporation

Dr. W. Dean Warren, Associate Professor of Surgery, effective 1 March 1963, to assume the
position of Professor and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at the University of Miami School
of Medicine in Miami, Florida
