• The following resignations were announced:
• Mr. Gary K. Ackers, Professor of Biochemistry, effective August 31, 1977, to accept a position at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
• Mr. Richard W. Barber, Assistant Professor of Systems Engineering, effective May 31, 1977, to participate in family business enterprise.
• Dr. Joel I. Brenner, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, effective September 15, 1977, to accept a position at the University of Maryland.
• Mr. D. Larry Carmichael, Assistant Professor of Education, effective August 31, 1977, to accept a position at Michigan State University.
• Mr. William R. Carriker as Chairman, Department of Special Education, effective May 31, 1977, to return to full time teaching. (Chairmanship only)
• Dr. Chan K. Chung, Assistant Professor of Radiology, effective August 31, 1977, to accept a position at the Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pennsylvania.
• Dr. William R. Drucker, Professor of Surgery, effective August 31, 1977, to accept Departmental Chairmanship in Surgery at the University of Rochester.
• Mr. Daniel Hillel, Visiting Professor of Environmental Sciences, effective May 31, 1977, to accept another position.
• Mr. David M. Hunsaker, Associate Professor of Speech Communication, effective May 31, 1977, to accept a position with the Government.
• Mr. Linwood Jacobs, Associate Professor, General Faculty, and Associate Dean of Students, effective September 30, 1977, to accept the position as Dean of Student Services, J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, Richmond.
