Thus, with the sweet vicissitude of mirth
They spent the time, as if that heauen and earth
Had studied to please man, in such a measure,
That Art could not doe more, t'augment their pleasure;
And so they vanisht.
Now Ceres euening bounty reinuites
Her noble guests, to her renew'd delights;
And frolicke Bacchus, to refresh their soules,
With a full hand, presents his swelling Bowles.
Wine came vnwish'd like water from a sourse,
And delicates were mingled with discourse.
What Art could doe, to make a welcome guest,
Was liberally presented at that feast.
