TO---.
Love has entwin'd a rosy bower,
Earth offers every beauteous flower,
On which my child may rest.
Ne'er may the storms of life annoy,
One sunlit hour of radiant joy
Rich with health's treasures blest.
Earth offers every beauteous flower,
On which my child may rest.
Ne'er may the storms of life annoy,
One sunlit hour of radiant joy
Rich with health's treasures blest.
Ah! may no passion's sting be thine,
Jarring the music of thy prime,
Asking only tears;
Nor may one moment's thought of thine
Ever cloud thy years.
Jarring the music of thy prime,
Asking only tears;
Nor may one moment's thought of thine
Ever cloud thy years.
