[Hearer of Prayers, confound my Foes]
Hearer of Prayers, confound my Foes,That bruise my tortur'd Soul to dust:
In man, alas, there's no repose;
Foes have no pity, Friends no trust.
My trust is in thy Word, which saies,
They shall not live out half their daies.
