Pistolers Nat'l Champs

The University of Virginia Pistol Team concluded the year
by taking first place in the Intercollegiate Conventional Pistol
Match, defeating Michigan Tech by only two points out of a
possible 1200.

The nationwide pistol match was open to all col lege and
university pistol teams in the United States.

The Virginia team, composed of fourth-year man Donald
K. Anderson, second-year men Davis R. Stan and Peter Daspit,
and the Virginia Women's Champion, Elizabeth Gathright, also
won over ten trophies and medals for both team and individual
accomplishments.
