By bequest of the late Isaac L. Cary, Esq., of Richmond, Va., real estate valued at
$7,000, to found scholarships in the University for the benefit of deserving young men.

By bequest of the late Douglass H. Gordon, of Baltimore, Md., $5,000, as an endowment
fund for the Library of the University.

1. Specimens of Graphite from Chester County, Pa., presented by Mr. Pennypacker.
