The Round Tower ; or, The Chieftains of Ireland | ||
SCENE IV.
Outside of a Fisherman's Cottage—(dawn of morning.)Enter, from it, Fishermen with their nets.
DUET—FISHERMEN.
Now the finny brood united,
O'er the buoyant liquid sweep;
Or lost in wanton sport, delighted,
Plunge adown the azure steep:
Yielding to the wiley plan,
Of the jolly fisherman.
9
Wand'ring streamlets swell the flood;
While with health and pleasure glowing,
Jocund pastime yields us food:
Crowning gay the wiley plan,
Of the jolly fisherman.
Exeunt.
